This iced drink is perfect for the start of summer! Chia seeds are a nutritious and fun texture addition to drinks and frozen blueberries add a nice burst of sweetness.
You can also customize this recipe with your own favorite juice or tea!
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp frozen blueberries
- your favorite drink! (I used a powder called ZipFizz from Costco, but juice or tea would also work well!)
- ice
Directions:
Add the chia seeds into your drink of choice. Stir. Wait 10-15 minutes for the chia seeds to rehydrate and gel (stirring again every 5 min or so).
Add ice and stir everything together. Top your drink with a few tbsp of frozen blueberries to finish it off!
Notes:
It is VERY IMPORTANT to wait for the chia seeds to rehydrate before enjoying!
